A ‘Circle of essence’ is a collective, freely unfolding space that strengthens the contact of the participating individuals with themselves, their mutual contact and their contact with the world. It leads to a more shared perception and orientation of the world, without any claim to (strenuous) agreement or documentation.
The following questions are invited, which are allowed to work one after the other and yet simultaneously between the participants (there is no predetermination as to when which question is the topic – the participants swing in together and what happens, happens):
1) What is going on in me & the world, and in the contact between me and the world? (Feelings, thoughts, body sensations, perception, being with it)
2) Why maybe what is going on and for what? (Questions, theses & possibilities, scraps of analyses, insights, learning)
3) Which being & doing fits in? (ideas, strategies, possibilities)
4) What do I take with me for my own development? What must and may I leave to others?
Since most of the participants won’t know the “Circle of essence” we’ll start as group with all participants (regardless if 3 or 50) in a fishbowl (with 5 inside). Once some of you understood it and want to start an own circle of essence you show this to the group (with a hand sign). With the time a “Mandala of essences” can grow in the room.
